About Me
I am passionate about working with people who have stress and anxiety and there is a good reason for it. My personal journey with stress and burn out began in my midthirties-overwhelm, worry, heart palpitations, panic attacks were just some of the things I experienced. I also had hormonal imbalances, adrenal fatigue, and intense premenstrual syndrome, which all seemed so strange because I thought I was doing all the right things to be considered "healthy".

As I began to explore and uncover the root cause of what could be causing this intense imbalance, I realized my overbooked schedule, lack of sleep and poor diet were just some of the factors playing a large role in how I was feeling. On top of this, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease-a chronic autoimmune disease in which the immune system turns against the body's own tissues.

To address these issues as well as manage my disease, I educated and empowered myself by reading many books written by incredible integrative doctors, holistic practitioners and researchers. I consulted with a wonderful integrative doctor to address my physical health as well as seeing a licensed therapist to help nourish my mental health. I worked hard to manage the stress in my life and I made it my mission to take deep care of myself. Slowly but surely I brought my physical and mental to a more balanced place. I went back to school and studied to become a Holistic Nutritionist at Bauman College, I returned to my daily yoga practice and made sure I was including real, whole, nourishing foods into my diet each day.

Changing your habits, behaviors and nutritional beliefs can be challenging and lasting change happens slowly.
